AGS 50th Anniversary Fall Seminar and Book Fair

The Arkansas Genealogical Society is celebrating its 50thAnniversary with the Fall Seminar and Book Fair
Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27, 2012
Wyndham Hotel – North Little Rock, Arkansas

The theme, “Moving into the Future-Looking Back at the Past” will be expertly covered by featured speaker and nationally known lecturer, Barbara Renick.  Barbara’s presentations on Saturday will assist beginners, intermediate, and advance researchers as they navigate the 21st century technology.

A special presentation, “Who Are Your People, Craig O’Neill?” will be a change of pace as AGS presents its program on Craig’s ancestors.  KTHV, Channel 11’s own Craig O’Neill will join us as we unveil who we found, what we found, and where we found it.  Don’t miss this!

Friday evening will also include presentations by Russell Baker, The Blue and The Gray: Looking for Civil War Ancestors and Greg Boyd, Arphax-HistoryGeo.com: A Revolutionary New Map Service from Arphax Publishing.

Registration begins Friday afternoon at 5 pm with lectures beginning at 6 pm.  Vendors will be open at 5 pm also.
